These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and Meet the Bowdens, LLC, owned by Lindsay Bowden ("Company," "we," "us"). They govern your membership in The Workroom, our paid online community for educators and creators (the "Membership").
1.1 Acceptance. By checking the box at checkout, joining, or continuing to use The Workroom, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't join or use The Workroom.
1.2 Current and lifetime members. These Terms apply to every member, including members who transferred from TRA Inner Circle or Beyond TPT and members with lifetime access. If you were a member before these Terms were posted, your continued use of The Workroom after we notify you means you accept them.
1.3 Age. You must be 18 or older to join. By joining, you confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract.
1.4 Other terms. Programs you buy separately (like Teacher Resource Academy) are covered by their own Course Terms of Use. If those terms conflict with these Terms on anything related to The Workroom, these Terms control.
2.1 Access groups. The Workroom is hosted on Kajabi. Your access depends on the programs you've purchased (for example, Teacher Resource Academy, Teachers on KDP, Subscribers to Sales, or Ads for Educators). You can only see and post in the access groups for programs you own.
2.2 Benefits can change. Membership benefits may include community access, live calls, co-working sessions, challenges, and feedback from our team. We may update, reschedule, replace, or retire any benefit at any time. Live call schedules can change. We don't guarantee that any specific benefit will be offered for the entire life of your Membership.
2.3 Personal access only. Your Membership is for you. Logins may not be shared, and one Membership covers one person growing their own business.
2.4 Platform terms. Your use of Kajabi and any tool we use to host calls is also subject to those platforms' own terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Kajabi, Teachers Pay Teachers, Amazon, or any other platform mentioned in The Workroom.
3.1 Recurring billing. Memberships are billed monthly, quarterly, or yearly at the price shown at checkout. Your Membership renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. By joining, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing period. A Membership is a subscription, not a payment plan.
3.2 Free trials. If your Membership starts with a free trial, your payment method will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel at least five (5) days before the trial ends.
3.3 Failed payments. If a payment doesn't go through, we will automatically retry your payment method up to four (4) more times. If the payment still fails after the fourth retry, your Membership will be automatically canceled and your access will end. To regain access, you'll need to rejoin at the price available at the time you rejoin.
3.4 Keeping your card current. You're responsible for keeping your payment information up to date in your account portal.
4.1 How to cancel. You can cancel anytime through your Kajabi account portal or by emailing contact@LindsayBowden.com. Cancellation requests must be received at least five (5) days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.
4.2 When cancellation takes effect. Your access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then ends.
4.3 No refunds. Because The Workroom is a digital product with immediate access, all payments are final. We don't offer refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or benefits you didn't use.
4.4 Your price is locked while you stay. Your Membership rate stays the same for as long as your Membership remains active and in good standing. If you cancel, or your Membership is canceled for failed payment or removal, and you later rejoin, the price available at the time you rejoin will apply. We may change pricing for new members at any time.
4.5 Lifetime memberships. Lifetime access means access for the life of The Workroom and the Company. If we are ever unable or unwilling to continue hosting The Workroom, we'll notify lifetime members and make reasonable efforts to provide continued access to key materials another way. Lifetime members are subject to these Terms, including the removal policy in Section 5.
The Workroom works because members show up for each other. By joining, you agree to the following.
5.1 Positivity over negativity. Treat other members and our team with respect. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Complaining, bashing, or tearing down other members, their work, or our team is not.
5.2 No self-promotion. You may not sell, pitch, or promote your own products, services, or programs, post affiliate links, or recruit members for other communities. You may not message members to sell to them or solicit them in any way without our written permission.
5.3 Keep it relevant. Post questions and wins in the access group they belong to, and keep conversations focused on growing your business.
5.4 How violations are handled. For minor issues, like a stray promotional link or an off-topic post, we'll usually start with a warning. We may also place your posts on approval, meaning a team member reviews them before they appear. For serious issues, including harassment, scams, threats, hate speech, or sharing Workroom materials outside The Workroom, we may remove you immediately without a warning.
5.5 Our right to remove content and members. We may edit, hide, or remove any post or comment, limit your posting, or remove any member from The Workroom at our sole discretion, at any time. A warning before removal is our usual practice, not a guarantee.
5.6 No refund after removal. If you are removed for breaking these Terms, you will not receive a refund of any kind, and any lifetime access ends. You may not rejoin under a different account without our written permission.
6.1 What's shared here stays here. Information other members share inside The Workroom is confidential. You may not screenshot, copy, repost, or share other members' posts, stores, products, sales numbers, or personal details outside The Workroom unless that member gives you written permission.
6.2 No sharing Workroom materials. All trainings, call recordings, templates, keyword research, feedback, and other materials in The Workroom belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own business. You may not share, sell, repost, distribute, or create competing products from them, and you may not share your login or downloads with anyone.
6.3 Consequences. Sharing Workroom materials or other members' information outside The Workroom is a serious violation. It will result in immediate removal with no refund, and we may pursue any other remedies available by law.
6.4 Our privacy practices. We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.1 You own your work. You keep full ownership of the resources, products, and other work you create and share inside The Workroom. We will not sell your resources or share your product files publicly without your permission.
7.2 Testimonials. By posting wins, results, screenshots, or feedback in The Workroom or sending them to us, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and share that content publicly, including in emails, sales pages, social media, and ads, along with your first name and, if relevant, your store name. We won't share sensitive personal information. If you don't want your content used, email contact@LindsayBowden.com and tell us in writing. We'll stop using it in new materials going forward.
7.3 Video testimonials. We only use video testimonials that members choose to submit to us as testimonials.
7.4 Feedback examples. We may use feedback given to members as teaching examples inside The Workroom or our programs, with names and identifying details removed.
7.5 Live calls and recordings. Live calls may be recorded. If you join a call, your name, image, voice, and anything you share may appear in the recording. Recordings are for Workroom members only and may not be downloaded, shared, or reposted. If you'd rather not appear, keep your camera off and use the chat.
7.6 Fair use of questions and feedback. Feedback and question access is meant for one member growing their own business at a reasonable pace. Questions and submissions must be about your own store and may not be made on behalf of clients, co-authors, or businesses you manage for others. Feedback you receive is for your use only. If your use goes beyond reasonable use or affects other members' experience, we'll contact you first, then may limit how many questions or submissions you make in a given period. What counts as reasonable use is up to our discretion.
8.1 No income guarantees. Results shared in The Workroom, including testimonials and examples, are not a promise or guarantee of earnings. Your results depend on your effort, time, skills, finances, and many other factors. There is no guarantee you will earn any money.
8.2 Not professional advice. The Company is not acting as a licensed professional. Nothing in The Workroom, including feedback, calls, or answers from our team, is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Please consult a qualified professional for those needs.
8.3 No platform affiliation. The Workroom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Teachers Pay Teachers, Amazon, Meta, Kajabi, or any other platform.
8.4 Provided "as is." The Workroom and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Content may contain errors and may change at any time.
8.5 Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use The Workroom. If you are unhappy with The Workroom, your sole remedy is to cancel your Membership.
8.6 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its owners, team, and contractors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of The Workroom, your posts, or your violation of these Terms or anyone else's rights.
8.7 Disputes. Any dispute related to The Workroom will be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Holly Springs, Georgia, USA. You waive any right to a jury trial or to take part in a class action or class arbitration.
8.8 Force majeure. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including platform outages, server failures, natural disasters, or government actions.
8.9 International members. The Workroom is operated from the United States. If you join from outside the US, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
8.10 Severability and assignment. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. You may not transfer your Membership or these Terms to anyone else without our written consent.
9.1 Updates to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify members by email and with a post in The Workroom at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep your Membership after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel as described in Section 4.
9.2 Contact us. Questions about these Terms, cancellations, or testimonial opt-outs can be sent to contact@LindsayBowden.com.
